So if you were wondering, my lesson went smoothly today. Everything was fine. Anyway, the students wanted us to write with them because it was our last day in the classroom. They were stream-of-thought exercises and pretty fun. Let me show you what I wrote and proceeded to read to the class:
"I wonder why they wanted Mr. Kaspereen and I to do BAM with them. It sounds like a pretty cool activity, I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to do it. I know if I was a student I would look forward to it. But then again, I might not. Being a student in 1st period is hard. I remember being in my first period class in high school wishing I had eaten breafast. By the time lunch rolled around I'd end up spending all my money on as much food as I could buy all because I didn't eat in the morning. Then I'd have to go to practice right after school on an empty stomach. Not good. Well, it can be good depending on how many sprints we did. Anyway, Mr. Kaspereen just showed me something he wrote that he thought was funny. I didn't think it was too funny, but I laughed anyway to make him feel like he was funny. I don't know why. Maybe thats why he makes bad jokes all the time. Kuz no one will ever stop to say 'man, that joke wasn't funny' to his face. Wait, I take that back, he does have some really good humor sometimes. Just the other day he wrote some fictional story about a guy plotting to blow up his local chicken farm. That's pretty funny, I guess."
This was written in a period of about ten minutes. I just thought it was humorous. Anyway, I hear his dumb laugh from next door so maybe I'll go check out what he's laughing about. Til next time. Au Revoir.
